In the Computer and Information Science (CIS) program, you will develop skills in Computer Science, Information Technology, and Information Systems. You gain knowledge of current and emerging technologies and learn how these are being applied to solve business problems. The program offers three Bachelors following the principles of ABET accrediting body and provides a foundation in computer programming, database technology, networking and systems analysis and design.
As part of the program, you develop a web-based e-portfolio of your work, which you can later use to present to potential employers in your job search. This program prepares you for positions in the Business and Information Technology sectors, specializing in integrated technology support and operations. The skills you acquire from this program will prepare you to work as a, Software Engineer, System Architect, System Analyst, Software Quality Assurance Specialist, and Programmer, IT Project Manager or Consultant.
