Technogirls
The annual HCT system wide Technogirls event is based on a very successful initiative which HCT - Dubai developed in collaboration with Microsoft. The aim of Technogirls is to help prepare high school students for the challenges of working in the field of emerging technologies in a global environment. In 2012, over 400 high school girls participated in 12 workshops during one day.

CTIT09
The IT Department organizes a bi-annual international research conference called Current Trends in Information Technology (CTIT). The 2009 Conference was sponsored by IBM, IEEE and British Computer Society. CTIT provides a forum for IT professionals, students, and practical researchers to share insights and experiences of the current trends of IT, and contribute to the vision of the future of IT that shapes our emerging society. The Conference attracts over 200 students and professionals from the UAE and abroad to share and present the latest research findings about IT and its application.
