Zurich, Geneva, Basel, Lucerne, Switzerland
Pharmacy students visited Switzerland as part of an educational and cultural trip in May 2006. The trip included visiting pharmacies in Zurich, pharmacy programs at universities in Zurich and Geneva, pharmacy manufacturing plants in Basel and Shauffhausen and cultural tours of Zurich and Lucerne. Students gave presentations about the HCT - Dubai Pharmacy program, projects and UAE in general.

Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, USA
Emergency Medical Services students (Paramedics) travel to the US as part of their curriculum. Those who meet the criteria spend the last 3 weeks of the semester at Harrisburg Community College in Pennsylvania, USA, studying courses and getting real-life experience in ambulances and rescue operations. The academic success rate for our students is very high, in addition to improving their time management and organizational skills. As this trip usually happens during winter months, students get to see and feel snow, some of them for the first time in their life. Students who successfully complete this training receive certificates from the Department of Transportation in Pennsylvania. With this certificate, after graduating from HCT - Dubai, they can work as Qualified Paramedics in the US.
